In June 2017, I graduated from Dar Al Hekma University with a degree in Architecture. I had always wanted to be an architect in a large firm that would take big and universal projects. But Ever since I attended my first internship during junior year of architecture, I have nurtured a dream of making my own architectural firm someday. After graduating university, I started working as a freelance architect on several projects, but I noticed that my knowledge is not adequate to manage a project. My architecture degree has given me a strong foundation to both artistic skills and analytical skills. Since it involves a lot of long, complex and intricate calculations and the application of basic math skills, but I was still missing out on the managerial skills. Now, I am writing this statement in order to possibly earn a spot in your program. Having two years of Master of Business Administration, will give me exposure to the managerial thinking I need, including how to take an idea through research and development, and introduce a new product or service. The MBA program will also increase my earning potential and help greatly in growing my professional network. Which is invaluable, as it gives me access to a large number of potential clients who can give me enough work to start my practice.
