Winston Churchill was a British writer, military leader and statesman in the 20th century, the character trait citizenship best describes him. He was apart of the Allied Powers in World War II against Nazi Germany and was dedicated to the effort. Even when the Prime Minister’s, Neville Chamberlain, appeasement policy with Nazi Germany was active, Churchill was critical of the action. He was right to be so because when Germany entered Norway, a place where Britain had important Norwegian iron mines and seaports, King George VI noticed Chamberlain’s mistake. In this regard, after a debate in Parliament and Chamberlain eventually getting no votes of confidence, the King appointed Churchill as the prime minister and minister of defense.
